LedgerTrack — income, GST & tax tracking for gig drivers

We read every message

LedgerTrack is made by Peaders. Support is handled by email — there is no phone line and no staffed help desk, and we don't promise a guaranteed response time or offer a service-level agreement. We are a small team, we read every message, and we reply as quickly as we reasonably can.

Email support@peaders.com

Tip: tell us your device (iPhone / Android / web), your app version, what you were doing, and what happened — it helps us help you faster. Screenshots help a lot. Please don't email us your passwords, card numbers, or a screenshot of your tax file number.

You can also use the Support & feedback box inside the app. Where a support endpoint isn't configured, that box opens a pre-addressed email in your own mail app — nothing is sent until you press send there.

Before you email — quick answers

Are the tax numbers official?

No. LedgerTrack produces estimates to help you set money aside and prepare records — it is not tax advice or a lodgement. Estimates only — not tax advice. Confirm figures with a registered tax agent before lodging.

The app does not lodge anything with the ATO, does not talk to the ATO, and cannot represent you.

Is my data safe / where is it stored?

By default your records are stored only on your own device. Cloud sync is optional and only runs if you create an account and sign in; then your records are also stored in our database so they survive a lost phone. Access is restricted per user at the database level. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Sync is not a backup service. If you have never signed in, we hold no copy — so export to CSV anything you'd be upset to lose.

Why does it ask for my location?

Only to measure business kilometres. There are two modes and they behave differently:

Either way, your GPS coordinates stay on your device and are deleted once the trip is recorded — only the distance in kilometres is saved and synced. You can decline location permission entirely and type trip distances in by hand.

Why does it want motion / activity access?

Only if you turn on automatic trip detection. The app reads the accelerometer to sense vehicle-like movement so it doesn't have to keep the GPS running, which saves battery. That reading happens on your device and is never stored or sent anywhere.

Automatic trip detection missed a trip / logged one I didn't take

It can. Detection depends on the operating system delivering location updates to a background app, which phone makers restrict aggressively to save battery. Check that battery optimisation is disabled for LedgerTrack and that location permission is set to "Always". Please do report misses — and in the meantime, add or correct the trip by hand in the Logbook.

Receipt scanning says it isn't available

Receipt scanning sends the photo to an AI provider to read it, and needs a server-side configuration and an active paid plan or trial. When it isn't available the app says so and falls back to entering the expense by hand — it never invents a result. Always check the scanned details against the actual receipt before saving, and keep the receipt.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Web (Stripe): cancel from inside the app. iPhone / Android: cancel through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings — only Apple or Google can cancel a store subscription, and deleting your LedgerTrack account will not cancel it. Cancel the store subscription first, or you'll keep being charged.

Either way, access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are refunded by Apple or Google under their own policies — we can't issue those. For a web subscription billed through Stripe, email us. This is on top of any right you have under consumer law.

How do I delete my data or account?

In the app, open Settings → Account → Delete account and type DELETE to confirm. You don't need to email anyone or wait for approval.

This is a real deletion, not a sign-out: it removes your login, your synced income, expenses, trips and assets, your settings and referral history, your subscription and trial records, your receipt-scan usage, and any support messages you sent from inside the app — and it erases the LedgerTrack data on that device. It is immediate and cannot be undone, so export anything you need for your tax return first. If you've never signed in there's no account to delete — clearing the app's storage removes everything.

How do I get my data out?

Export to CSV from within the app. We'd rather you were able to leave than feel locked in — and you'll want the export for your accountant anyway.

Feature requests & bugs

We genuinely want to hear what would make LedgerTrack more useful for your driving. Send ideas and bug reports to the same address — concrete examples help most. If a tax figure looks wrong to you, please tell us what you expected and why; those reports are the most valuable ones we get.

Reporting a security or privacy problem

Please email support@peaders.com with the details, and give us a chance to fix it before disclosing it publicly. Privacy requests — access, correction, erasure — are covered in the Privacy Policy.
