LedgerTrack — income, GST & tax tracking for gig drivers
These terms govern your use of LedgerTrack, a bookkeeping and tax-estimate app for Australian gig drivers, provided by Peaders. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean the provider of LedgerTrack, and "you" means the person using it. By using LedgerTrack you agree to these terms.
Peaders is the trading name under which LedgerTrack is published. Nothing on this page should be read as a claim to be an incorporated company, a licensed adviser, or a registered tax agent.
LedgerTrack helps you record income and expenses and produces estimates of GST and income tax so you can set money aside and prepare records for your accountant. It is a self-service tool.
The same disclaimer appears on every screen of the app, and it means what it says:
Estimates only — not tax advice. Confirm figures with a registered tax agent before lodging.
LedgerTrack does not lodge anything with the ATO on your behalf, does not communicate with the ATO, and cannot represent you. Rate tables are maintained against published ATO figures, and the app is built to tell you plainly when it does not hold rates for a year rather than estimate from an invented number — but a correct rate applied to incomplete data still produces a wrong answer, and only you know whether your data is complete.
You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live, and you must be using LedgerTrack for your own records. LedgerTrack is a business tool for working drivers and is not directed at children.
LedgerTrack can measure trip distance using your phone's GPS, and can optionally detect trips automatically once you switch that on. Two things follow from that:
If you scan a receipt, the image is sent to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) which reads the merchant, date, amount and GST and returns suggested values. These features:
A scan result is never a substitute for keeping the receipt itself.
LedgerTrack has a Free plan that does not require any payment details. Paid plans unlock additional features, which are listed in the app at the time you subscribe. Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe, in Australian dollars.
If you are a consumer in Australia, our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees, or any other right or remedy you have under a law that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent any part of these terms would do so, that part does not apply to you.
Among other things, those guarantees mean that services must be supplied with due care and skill and be reasonably fit for any purpose we told you they were fit for. You are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the service remedied within a reasonable time if it fails to be of acceptable quality and that failure does not amount to a major failure.
Cancelling, cooling off and refunds. You can cancel a subscription at any time, and you can end the free trial at any point before it converts, as described in section 7. Where a statutory cooling-off or cancellation right applies to your purchase, it applies in addition to the cancellation and refund arrangements in section 7 — those arrangements do not replace it, do not shorten it, and are not a limit on it. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are also subject to Apple's or Google's own refund policies, which we cannot override.
If you think something has gone wrong and you are entitled to a remedy, email support@peaders.com and tell us what happened. We will deal with the request on its merits, and we will not send you away to Apple or Google where the remedy is one we are able to give.
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it for abuse; no accessing other users' data; no attempts to bypass paid tiers, entitlement checks or usage allowances; no unlawful use. We may suspend or terminate access that threatens the service or other users.
LedgerTrack is provided on a best-effort basis. There is no uptime guarantee and no service-level agreement (SLA), and features may change or be discontinued. Because the core app works offline on your device, most functionality does not depend on our servers being online — but receipt scanning, sync, sign-in and billing do.
We are a small team. Support is by email, with no guaranteed response time — see Support for what you can actually expect.
You may stop using LedgerTrack at any time, and may delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data. Terminating an account does not itself cancel a subscription bought through an app store — see section 7.
This section is subject to section 8. Nothing in it excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other right or guarantee you have under a law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Read everything below as applying only to the extent the law allows.
Subject to that, LedgerTrack is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations that are not expressly set out in these terms — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that its estimates will match your final assessment, or that it will satisfy the record-keeping requirements of your particular circumstances.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for tax outcomes, ATO penalties, interest, missed deductions, lost data, lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunity, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, however caused, arising from your use of — or reliance on — the app or its estimates, even if we had been told such loss was possible.
Liability cap. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with LedgerTrack and these terms — whether in contract, in tort (including negligence), under statute or otherwise — is limited to the total amount you actually paid us for LedgerTrack in the twelve (12) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. If you paid us nothing in that period, our total aggregate liability is limited to AUD $100.
Where liability cannot be excluded. Where a law implies a guarantee, condition or warranty that cannot be excluded, but permits our liability for breaching it to be limited, our liability is limited — at our option — to resupplying the service, or to paying the cost of having the service resupplied. This paragraph does not apply where the services are of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use or consumption.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be surfaced in the app or on this page; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept a change, you may stop using LedgerTrack and delete your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
If you use LedgerTrack from outside Australia you do so on your own initiative, and you are responsible for complying with your local law. Nothing in this section takes away the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection law of the country in which you ordinarily reside.
